There are many ways to earn Robux in Roblox such as: You can get free Robux if you play certain games in which you can win free Robux or prizes that have a high value later on. The more popular the game is, the more people playing it means the game has a higher chance of giving rewards. Another way to get free Robux is by completing surveys or writing a review. Playing Roblox games and participating in certain challenges can earn you robux, as well. You can also earn Robux by performing automated tasks such as watching ads or watching videos.

Roblox is involved in a lawsuit concerning child safety on the Internet. On September 17, 2010, two brothers filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court, Southern District of California against Roblox Corporation and its founder and CEO David Baszucki. The suit alleged that the defendants failed to protect their nine and thirteenyearold sons from inappropriate content on Roblox that resulted in emotional distress. The suit also accuses the company of negligence for failure to monitor potentially harmful content and failure to institute parental monitoring measures. The case is known as "McDonald v. Roblox".
